Season 3 Finale
Hey everyone, welcome to the final episode of Season 3 of the UX Growth Podcast! I’m your host, Nick Mann. Wow, I can’t believe we’re here at the end of another season. It feels surreal, and I just want to start by saying a huge thank you to all of you, our amazing listeners. It’s incredible to think that thousands of you tune in to each episode. I’m so grateful for your support and enthusiasm.
You know, imposter syndrome is something I struggle with a lot, especially when I reach out to these incredible designers for the first time. Sometimes I wonder, “Who am I to be doing this?” But your support keeps me going, and I’ve learned so much from our guests and from all of you.
Speaking of guests, I have to give a massive shoutout to everyone who’s been on the podcast this season. Some of them even reached out to me, which blows my mind. And guess what? I already have people lined up for Season 4! Your willingness to share your knowledge and experiences is what makes this podcast so special.
And let’s not forget our amazing sponsors. Thanks to them, we’ve actually made a profit this season! That’s a huge deal because most podcasts never even break even. Your support means everything and allows us to keep bringing valuable content to the UX community.
I encourage all of you to reach out to the guests we’ve had on the show. They’re genuinely awesome people who are more than willing to help out and provide guidance. Building a strong network is so important in our field, and these folks are some of the best people to connect with.
The feedback and stories I've received from you, the listeners, have been incredibly inspiring. Hearing how an episode helped you solve a problem at work or gave you a new perspective is why I do this. It’s been a learning journey not just for you, but for me as well.
Now, let’s talk about what’s coming up during the off-season. First up, I’ll be finishing my ebook, which is all about the growth insights I’ve learned from this podcast. It’s going to be a short, practical guide that you can read and apply multiple times. I’m excited to share some of the best tips and strategies that have come up during our conversations, all in one handy reference.
I’m also looking to guest on other UX and tech-related podcasts and maybe even speak at some events. If you know of any opportunities or have any suggestions, please let me know. That would be the best way to thank me – by helping spread the word about the UX Growth Podcast.
On top of that, I’m starting a newsletter to dive deeper into the topics I’ve discussed on LinkedIn. If we’re not already connected there, let’s change that! The newsletter will be free and packed with valuable insights, exclusive content, and a bit more of my personal thoughts on various UX topics. It’ll be a great way to stay connected and keep the conversation going even when the podcast is on a break.
As for Season 4, I’ve got some exciting ideas. We’ll still have the traditional one-on-one guest format, but I also want to try something new. I’m planning to host roundtable discussions with groups of designers on various subjects. It’ll be a bit tricky to coordinate because of everyone’s busy schedules and different time zones, but I think it’ll be worth it. These discussions will bring diverse perspectives on key issues in UX, and I’m sure you’ll find them incredibly valuable.
If you’re interested in being a guest for Season 4, please reach out! I’m aiming to start the new season in about two months, so we’re looking at a September or October launch. I always say I’ll take a couple of months off, but in reality, it’s usually just one because I’m so eager to get back to it.
Thank you so much for listening and supporting the UX Growth Podcast. Make sure to follow the podcast on your preferred platform so you’ll know when we’re back. I’ll also announce it on LinkedIn, so check the show notes for the link. Your continued support means the world to me, and I’m excited for what’s to come.
Until then, I’m your host, Nick Mann, and thank you for an incredible Season 3. See you soon!
